REFUND POLICY

1. Scope

This Refund Policy applies to travel bookings arranged by AVINTUS INFOTECH PRIVATE LIMITED (operating under the travel brand AVINTUS TRAVELS) under the AVINTUS TRAVELS brand. It should be read with the Terms & Conditions, Cancellation Policy, the customer’s quotation/invoice and the applicable airline, hotel and other supplier rules.

2. Refund eligibility

Refund eligibility depends on the service booked, the timing and reason for the request, supplier rules, amounts already paid to suppliers, work already performed, and applicable law. Some services, including certain airfares, visa/application fees, event tickets, promotional rates or prepaid accommodation, may be non-refundable where this was disclosed before purchase and the restriction is lawful.

3. Customer cancellation

If you cancel a booking, the applicable cancellation charges and any refundable balance will be determined under the Cancellation Policy and the supplier terms provided for your booking. A refund is not guaranteed simply because a customer cannot travel, misses a departure or has a visa refused. We will explain the applicable terms and any available supplier refund or credit options.

4. Supplier cancellation or failure to confirm

If a supplier cancels a service or a booking cannot be confirmed after payment, we will inform you and explain the options available under the supplier’s terms and applicable law. Where a refund is due, the amount may depend on funds returned by the supplier and any lawful, previously disclosed deductions. Statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.

5. Refund requests

Submit a written request to info@avintustravels.com with your booking reference, lead traveller’s name, affected service, reason for the request and payment reference. For security, do not include full card numbers, PINs or CVV codes. We may request reasonable supporting documents.

6. Processing time

After a refund is approved and the refundable amount is determined, we will initiate it within a reasonable processing period and communicate the expected timeline. Actual crediting time depends on the bank, card issuer, payment gateway and supplier. If a supplier has not yet returned funds, we will explain the status and next steps rather than promise a date we cannot control.

7. Refund method and deductions

Where practicable, approved refunds will be returned through the original payment method. Any supplier cancellation penalty, fare difference, non-refundable amount or processing fee will be deducted only where applicable, lawful and properly disclosed. We will provide a calculation or explanation of any deduction on request.

8. Taxes and third-party charges

The treatment of taxes, government fees, visa charges, bank charges and payment-processing charges depends on whether those amounts are refundable by the relevant authority or provider and on applicable law. We will communicate the treatment relevant to the booking.

9. Duplicate or incorrect payments

If you believe you have made a duplicate payment or paid an incorrect amount, contact us promptly with the transaction references. We will check our records and coordinate with the payment provider as appropriate.

10. Disputes and assistance

If you disagree with a refund decision, write to us with the booking reference and reasons so we can review the matter. This Policy does not limit any rights or remedies available under applicable consumer or payment law.
